Do I need a referral to see Fisher Foot Clinic?

Most patients do not need a referral to make an appointment with Fisher Foot Clinic. However you should check your benefits to see if you need a referral to see a specialist.

The VA Community Care program may refer you to us and we will work with the VA to obtain the appropriate authorization. For active duty personal covered under the Tricare program, while a referral is not necessary, we recommend you obtain a referral from your primary care physician to avoid your Point of Service cost sharing.

So which insurance plans don't you accept?

We do not accept South Carolina Healthy Connections and Medicaid affiliated plans. These include Absolute Total Care, Select Health, First Choice VIP Care, Molina Healthcare, Wellcare, Aetna Medicare Assure and BlueChoice HealthPlan of SC.
